Pickleball @ CUMC, Powered by Upward Sports
Christ Church Quad Cities is excited to host our Youth Pickleball Ministry, a program where young athletes grow in skill, confidence, teamwork, and Christ‑centered character. If your child is looking for a place to play, belong, and thrive this fall, we would love to welcome them to the court.
Pickleball at Christ Church is more than a sport — it’s a community. Each Saturday morning, players experience a balance of healthy competition, equal playing time, team devotions, and new friendships. Our coaches are committed to creating a fun, encouraging environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Winter 2026 details will be coming soon - stay tuned to register!

Pickleball is a paddle sport that blends elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, played on a court similar to a badminton court with a low net. Players use solid paddles to hit a perforated plastic ball back and forth, aiming to score points by hitting the ball over the net and into the opponent's court. It is a social and family-friendly game, popular across all ages and skill levels, and can be played as singles or doubles.

Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S., with millions of players of all ages joining the game.
It provides a unique opportunity for your church to engage young people in your community with the Gospel. Pickleball is a great way to keep the middle and high school students engaged with your church.
It’s flexible. You can set up courts inside or outside. Nets are portable and can be set up in under 10 minutes which means you are ready to go without much prep time. We suggest at least two or three courts.
