FAQ

  • What Should I Wear to Church?

We would tell you to dress however you’re comfortable for worship. Most people dress casually, in jeans, like you were going out to grab dinner. Others, dress a little nicer with business casual sort of clothes. Pastor Sarah often preaches in jeans - so feel comfortable doing the same.

  • What Do I Do with My Kids?

We love kids at Christ Church! We’re so glad to offer a nursery, at our East Moline Campus, at our 9:00 & 10:30 service. The nursery serves kids who are from birth to enrolled in Kindergarten in a fun and safe environment. BUT! We LOVE when your kids worship with us. Feel free to have them enjoy worship with us anytime!

  • Can I Take Communion?

If you happen to join us when we have communion, on the first Sunday of the month, know that you are encouraged to share communion with us. In the United Methodist Church, we practice open communion…that means any one, of any background, is welcome to receive the bread and cup.

  • Do You Have Classes and Bible Studies?

We have classes, programs, and Bible Studies offered at different times, and different campuses. Follow our social media channels, or sign up for our weekly newsletter, to see announcements on upcoming classes you can attend.

  • What's Up with Having Different Campuses?

Christ Church’s mission is to make Christ famous in the Quad Cities. So, over the years, we’ve found ways and places to have worship in more than one location across the Quad Cities. As part of the Christ Church family, you’re welcome to attend any campus at any time. Or, stick to one location that you prefer. We find ways to stay connected as one body, even though we worship in different places.

  • Who Can Come to Church?

We’re so glad to say that anyone is welcome to attend Christ Church and its ministries! Regardless of your background, or experience in church, you’re welcome to find your home with us. We’re broken people, saved by Christ’s grace, and finding ways to be more like him. We hope you’ll join us in doing the same.
