5 MARKS OF A METHODIST
This study began the week of May 3rd, and continues for 6 weeks, based on the book Five Marks of a Methodist
The study explores five essential practices that shape us as faithful and fruitful followers of Christ: loving God, rejoicing in God, giving thanks, praying constantly, and loving others—rooted in the teachings of John Wesley.
Currently, the study is offered through Kathy Ramp’s Wednesday morning group. The class began on Wednesday, May 6th by zoom at Vibrant. Contact Kathy for more information.

UNITED MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER
This isn’t your ordinary marriage conference; it's an experience. This intimate, workshop-style retreat with your spouse meant to refresh and encourage you. You will be equipped with practical tools to transform, edify, and nurture your marriage.

YOUTH: SERVING THE CHURCH & COMMUNITY
This week in Sunday School, the high school students discussed what are the next steps since they are now confirmed in the church. In confirmation classes, the students learned that they are to give their witness, talents, presence, prayer, and gifts in service to the church, God’s kingdom. This summer, the youth are asked to prioritize serving in the church and community.
As a part of our efforts to serve communities, we are inviting youth to join us to attend a Youth Rally in Macomb, IL on June 14th. The Rally will be held at the WIU Wesley Foundation that serves the college community in Macomb. Students will be participating in food packing, served dinner, and will enjoy worshipping together. The registration deadline is June 11th. Bus will leave around 2 pm and will return around 9 pm.
CHRISTIAN GONZALES CONCERT
We are excited to welcome pianist Christian Gonzales back to our East Moline campus for a special concert on Sunday, June 14 at 4:00 p.m.
Join us for an afternoon of beautiful music and fellowship as we enjoy his inspiring performance.
