CUB SCOUT PACK 311 UPDATE
April 19, 2026
Brr, a little chilly outside this weekend. This week we will have a parents summer planning meeting. It will be the last of our "normal" Tuesday evening activities for a while. During the parents planning meeting, we will have games ready to keep the scouts entertained and busy. This is an important meeting to help decide what activities and outings we will do this summer as well as take a peek into next year's schedule. Please come and share your ideas, help set dates, and sign-up to volunteer to help with the planning for these events. Also, we are trying to understand who is interested in one of the offered Summer Camps. This will allow us to plan better for these events.
For those signing up for the Stealth campout, please bring any questions you have to the next meeting. Dave has officially registered the group who said they are camping in Tentaroo (Illowa Council's event registration and facility booking system) for those who signed up during the crossover. Bryan Peterson is coordinating the menu, and the food costs will be split equally among all campers. He will collect both the camping fees and food money at the site. Please reach out to Bryan to volunteer for tasks like assisting with tent setups, cooking, or cleaning—we want to ensure he has plenty of help! Note: Every scout must be accompanied by at least one parent to attend.
What a fantastic turnout for our crossover this Tuesday! We handed out tons of adventure awards, and every active scout officially earned their rank badge—congrats to all! A huge thank you to our amazing parents and leaders for your time and energy this year. Your support makes it possible for our scouts to build character, gain confidence, and make memories that last a lifetime. Thank you all!
